I am selling a pair of Celestion SR1 speaker cabinets. Each cabinet has two 8" concentric dome radiators with flexirol surround for wide dispersion and reduced distortion. Built in mounts for a speaker stand. Covers are included for portability. These speakers handle 350 - 500W each (Sensitivity 99dB - 1W @ 1m.) Frequency response is 50 - 20k Hz with proper EQ, but if you really need to feel the power in the 40 - 80 Hz range, you can add an 18" subwoofer (NOT INCLUDED.)Not as common in the USA where the market is dominated by the Bose 802, the Celestion SR1 is known throughout the world for offering consistent performance in installed and portable applications. Like the Bose 802, these were typically sold with a dedicated controller (SRC4 - NOT INCLUDED). But any good 31-band EQ or speaker controller (dbx Driverack or Behringer Ultra-Drive) will work. These are LOUD and sound GREAT!These cabinets weigh 36 lbs EACH, and ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGES will apply. Shipping may be as low as $60 in the Northeast, or up to 3 times that for the West Coast. I will pack them in TWO shipping boxes. Or you can pick them up (I am in NE PA about 2 hrs. from NYC and Philly.)
