A chance to own a true early 70's Gibson legend. Up for auction is a 1973 Gibson "The Grabber Bass". They called it the Grabber because you "Grabbed" the pickup and could slide it back and forth to give you a neck or bridge pickup position, or anywhere in-between, giving this bass an immense tonal range. Gene Simmons from KISS used a Gibson Grabber in the early years. See You Tube video: Kiss - Gene Simmons Bass Solo & 100,000 Years Live 1975, It shows him playing a Gibson Grabber. These basses Thunder like all Gibson basses. Serial number is 00184058. Sale comes with bass and Original Hardshell Case. Bass has a blemish by the horn/strap holder (see pic) One of the case clips to lock the case is missing (see pic). Paypal onlyShipping is $35No overseas sales.
