The guitar has a cool look with engraved metal aluminum body, headstock and back plates, pickup rings and accents on top of a bound maple cap with an amber Aztec Gold finish on a mahogany body. The guitar has a nice action and the mahogany neck with a bound ebony fretboard has a great feel. The 24 medium sized frets are in excellent condition. The 2 custom wound DiMarzio pickups and electronics sound fantastic. Each pickup has its own volume, connected through a five way switch. The guitar has a master tone and a Teye signature element, the "Mood" knob, which blends the coils of the pickups to variably access single coil and humbucking modes with no 60-cycle hum. The pickups can also be run out-of-phase, via position four in the five-way switch. This position really nails the Jimmy Page/Gary Moore/Peter Green out-of-phase tone. All of the tones are really good. The Coyote is equipped with a Teye A-series hand made bridge and tailpiece, Corian nut and Grover tuners. The instrument has a wonderful and unique custom look, feel and sound. Includes a hard shell case. Serial Number: 00157 Weight: 8 lbs. 9 oz.
