For your consideration is a rare 2016 Fender USA American Special Sandblasted Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Gator Hardshell Case. This particular guitar was a small batch/exclusive run produced just for Sweetwater back in the fall of 2016. It is in near mint condition, and has been given a massive overhaul in the modding department. I am primarily a hard rock/heavy metal player, so the stock setup just wasn't going to cut it for my style of playing. All modifications and upgrades were professionally done by my experienced luthier and work is second to none. For the purist, this guitar can be easily returned to stock with your preferred loaded pickguard and hardware. I have my eye on a few boutique guitars, so the wife says the herd must be thinned before I make any other purchases. Pretty typical story around here, right? LED strictly for effect, and does not need to be engaged for operation. If you notice in the pictures, there is a battery box route and toggle switch on the back of the guitar for this. The toggle flips the light on or off and pushing the button controls the kill switch. Can do stutter effects or just be a quick kill to the signal. If you don't care for the kill switch, it can be removed. The nice thing with the way this guitar is routed and modded, the battery box can be utilized for active pickups as well. There's really a number of different options to tweak this guitar to your personal preference.Neck:22 Fret American Special Maple Neck with Jumbo Frets (9.5 Compound Radius) working adjustable truss rod.
