Hello, Up for auction is my Fender Stratocaster 1966 Relic guitar. This was painstakingly put together using all American parts based on a 1966 CBS period Strat with the large headstock and 50's transitional logo. The Fiesta Red body is almost salmon pink and aged to perfection by the guys at tricked out guitars in the US with a cool Nitrocellulose finish and really beat up old look. I purchased the relic'd allparts neck from the US and set about sourcing the right pickups. I chose Fender vintage 50's to add to the body and a custom made wiring harness with cloth wire from the guys at Charles Custom Guitars this is a period correct 1966 pre wired harness. Added to that the relic tuners and scratchplate you have an awesome Customer Shop Stratocaster without the custom shop price tag! I love the guitar, however I don't play it as much as my gretsch and will put the money into a new 6120 😬 I spent a lot of money sourcing the parts and putting it all together was fun! Made with genuine parts this guitar is ready to go and any trial is welcome! Plays like a dream although I play heavy gauge strings so it's set with thomastik jazz flatwounds 12's at the moment. Please see the attached pictures of the parts I purchased for the build. All quality and legitimate 👍 The only parts missing are the strap buttons and string tree. Obviously the Fender Amp and Reel to Reel pictured are not part of the deal 😬 Enjoy
