Up for sale is a Custom Olds Flugelhorn/cornet in the key of C in good condition. I built this horn as a fun project and I considered keeping it but tax season is here and being self employed is expensive. This instrument is in great condition and plays very well. The valves move well and slides all move very well. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, it has little tiny dings, scratching, a bit of pitting but is otherwise in great condition. Non of this effects the playability of the horn and it all can be seen in the pictures.
This of course isn't actually a Flugelhorn or a cornet. It is wrapped like a trumpet but it sounds a lot like a flugelhorn due to the tapper of the bell and I think that it give you a very interesting and mellow tone quality. I've made a few of these over the years and people seem to really like them. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Also remember I have a 14 day return policy so don't worry about getting stuck with the horn if you don't like. I think anyone who is truly interested in the horn will really love what they get.Also If you or anyone else is interested in custom horn like this or with some other interesting options I can build one for you upon request.
