For sale is this absolutely incredible aged Gibson Les Paul Slash Signature in Tobacco Burst. This guitar started its life out as a Limited Edition Slash Signature Goldtop, one of only 1000 made (and commonly referred to as the most desirable version of Slash LP’s). The guitar was refinished and aged by KLH Custom Guitars to give it the feel of a well-played vintage Les Paul. There is finish checking and play wear, and the headstock veneer was refinished with a traditional “Les Paul” logo. The “Gibson” logo was even re-inlaid with aged MOP! This is no fly-by-night relic job…KLH did a wonderful conversion here (which cost about $1500 at the time). All of it’s coolness aside, this is one of the best-playing and sounding Les Paul’s I’ve ever played! It is loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan JB/59 humbuckers with aged nickel covers, and the custom “hybrid” neck profile that Slash chose for his guitars is amazingly fast and comfortable! The guitar weighs in at ~8.4lbs, so it’s not a total backbreaker. Comes with original hardshell case and Slash-signed Plaque COA.
