2006 TAYLOR GS ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC GUITAR IN NATURAL FINISH
PLEASE CALL US TOLL FREE FOR AN IN-HAND DESCRIPTIONASK FOR STEVE1-800-800-0087 What makes this guitar special: Introduced in 2006, the Grand Symphony was developed to deliver a larger, more robust dynamic range with greater volume. With a bigger overall body size than the Grand Auditorium, The GS certainly delivers on that goal with rich, deep bass, strong midrange, and balanced treble frequencies that respond phenomenally when strummed, yet maintain a rich clarity when fingerpicked. This guitar is an absolute powerhouse from top to bottom, but can handle any playing style thrown at it with ease. The Expression System captures the natural acoustic sound of the guitar beautifully. Featuring a professional setup from our in house technician, this guitar is guaranteed to play just as great as it sounds. Condition: This Taylor is in excellent condition overall. There are some extremely light surface scratches in the typical playing areas, but these are incredibly minor; otherwise, the guitar is super clean without a mark on it. The frets display some very light playing wear and have tons of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly.Body: Solid Western Red Cedar top with Solid Tropical American Mahogany back and sides in Gloss natural finish. Grand Symphony body size. Clear pickguard. Multi ply white ivoroid binding. Abalone rosette with white accent rings. Ebony bridge with compensated Tusq saddle and ebony bridge pins with abalone dots.
Neck: Medium thickness C Shape neck (.85” at the 1st fret, .89” at the 9th fret). 20 fret bound ebony fingerboard with Abalone dot inlays and black side dots. Mother of Pearl Taylor logo headstock inlay. Gold Taylor sealed gear tuning machines. 1 3/4” nut width. 25.5” scale length. Electronics: Taylor Expression System 1. Master Volume control. Single Bass and single Treble control. Weight: 4 lbs. 9.8 oz.Playability/Sound: The medium thickness neck will be extremely comfortable for all types of players. The Western Red Cedar top paired with the Tropical American Mahogany back and sides has a robust tonal range that responds well to both fingerstyle and flat picking playing styles, especially with the larger body size of the GS. The guitar has ample acoustic volume with a deep, present bass, full midrange, and well-balanced high end.
Case: Includes original hard shell case and original paperwork
