1982 Gibson Les Paul Custom with original case. Mahogany body, mother of pearl inlays, maple top, 3 piece maple neck without the volute!, Ebony fretboard, original pots....MAJOR MOJO HERE! This is a players instrument not a collectors guitar. Recently cleaned, set up, etc. its ready to rock! Check photos...its got plenty of scratches, small piece of binding missing at 13th fret(does not affect playability) and left upper headstock, etc. I believe the p/ups are 490/498 combo im not exact on this...they sound amazing and are genuine gibsons, the frets are in great shape and the ebony board is like glass, super unique bridge(it shows no screw post and is smooth), gibson "string winder" tuners which are rare and uber cool!, This guitar does what most gibson don't....it stays in tune for days. It is in the 10.5-11lbs range. Its a dream to play and you cannot buy a custom these days without shelling out major bucks. I might add...the new ones do not have ebony but richlite plastic for the fretboard. A real relic here. ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. SOLD AS IS.
