Fender Super Reverb. This is the 2001 reissue of the 1965 Super Reverb. This Is NOT “Vintage”, in that it is the reissue. Electronically it is identical to the 1965 original, with tubes, 45 Watts of power, and four 10 inch Jensen speakers.I’ve had the wiring upgraded, as the original wiring in the reissues was notorious for minimal wiring. These mods were done by Brent Bagby, arguably the Northwest’s tube amp guru who makes regular stops at establishments such as Emerald City Guitars, Guitar Center, and Ted Brown. The amp was never ‘gigged’ and always lived and played in a smoke free environment. The amp has seen little play time. In the music world of buying and selling, one often sees the phrase ‘mint condition’. I think my amp meets mint condition values, based on how it looks, how much is has been played, and how it sounds. To most, the term ‘mint’ means if you were to set my amp next to a brand new one, a person would be hard pressed to determine which one was the new one. If I were to put this amp in a scale rating of 1 to 10, my rating would be that it’s a 9.5…it’s really nice.   It includes the two button foot switch, and the Fender black protective cover. In one of the photos you can see that I’ve changed out the little red “jewel” on-off light for a blue jewel. I always thought that when I was playing the blues, that little blue light felt better than the red one!I’m getting up there in age, just don’t play much anymore. It’s a beautiful amplifier, and sounds amazing. I’m in the Seattle area, so if you’re nearby, I can bring it over to you. If you’re outside the area, I’ll ship it to you. It weighs a bit over 61 pounds per my bathroom scale. According to eBay, it looks like shipping is in the ballpark of $30 to $100 depending on how far away you are.
