Known as the holy grail "8502" Fender Telecaster American Standard ash body and American made replacement vintage rosewood neck. The guitar was originally damaged and the body was originally finished in a fullerplast sealer and poly finish which was unbelievably thick. It was laid thick to smooth out the ash grain. It had finish cracks that went down to wood. It's not as attractive as nitrocellulose lacquer when it checks. So it was stripped down to bare ash wood. The whole guitar was professionally finished in a nitro sealer, vintage white nitro base coat, Olympic white nitro top coat finish and clear nitro lacquer. Top quality nitrocellulose lacquer was used to refinish this gorgeous piece of ash which shows the grain. Ash has sustain for days. The original maple neck was replaced with a rare rosewood licensed American made allparts vintage C shape 7.25 radius neck. They made them a few years back. It's finished in a amber nitro lacquer and a matching Olympic white headstock. It has a authentic 60s reissue silkscreen die cut raised lettering waterslide and a real bone nut. It's equipped with Fender Telecaster American vintage 62 custom pickups, CTS pots, fender 4 way switch. American standard bridge and plate. Gotoh tuners with white turning keys. Custom usa made pickguard. It has the micro adjustment also. This guitar is absolutely incredible as you can see from all the pictures provided. It feels and sounds far better than it did with that thick coat of plastic on the body, like it originally had. Now it just rings through every fret. It's fully set up and comes with a Orange crush G&G case. I can send a picture that shows the serial number of the original neck to the body and my conversation about this guitar with a fender rep.
