New Unplayed USA PRS S2 Custom 22 Stunning Sea Foam Green + Hiscox Flight case I’m a collector – a bass player – not a guitarist - hence this being unplayed I imported this New from a PRS dealer in Germany last year – simply because of the colour. Sea Foam Green now discontinued so this will appreciate as a collector’s item.
Made in the Maryland Factory USA September 2014 – see serial number in pics of headstock and case candy - its been in its case under my stairs for 18 months since I purchased it Christmas 15/16It’s been out of the case just twice since then for less than 10 minutes - still has the plastic on the back plate. See close-up of the machine head tuners - you can see this guitar has not been used at all. Wonderful low action all along the neck – deep rosewood fingerboard - PRS factory set up.Finished frets – they curl down to the neck edges making playing so wonderfully comfortable and fast - really make a difference.Big fat Humbuckers (sounds like a Les Paul but with more bite) but also has a Pull Push Coil Tap control on the Tone knob to make pick ups Singe Coil when you pull it out ..... and hey presto it sounds just like a Hendixy Fender StratNice chunky C Shape Neck – feels great under your hands.Locking Machine Heads – if you have never ever experienced these, you can restring and tune up in 1/10th normal time – I have them on my deluxe Strat. Very impressed with build quality - puts Gibson in the shade - if I were guitarist PRS would absolutely be my choice of gigging guitar – no brainerHiscox case nearly new. Never left the house but has one or two VERY minor marks from getting it in and out of stairs cupboard - I had a USA Strat in it since I bought it. The other reason was that I had had a reunion with the band I was in when I was 17 – Spellbound – and one of the guitarists had a guitar that really cut through like a Strat but with a big warm sound of a Gibson – it was the first time I’d heard a PRS. I have played it for less than 10 minutes twice. I’m a bass player. I collect interesting 6 strings in Mint condition (This is the first I’ve ever bought new). I get my little beauties out of their cases every now and again, love them, play them for a few minutes, polish them and then put them back again. (sad I know – it’s my old git man-hobby!) This PRS I’ve not played much at all. It’s been out of the case twice since I first got it out of the box when it arrived - and then for less than a few minutes. I sort of knew I’d pass this one on while it was still new and unplayed – why? – because it’s the most amazing guitar I’ve ever had. Pisses all over my USA deluxe Strat, my vintage USA Tele, my 2003 Gibson 335 – even better than my cheap Korean Riviera – which plays better than all the above fine USA guitars - LOL!) It’s the neck and the fingerboard, the frets, the quality of manufacture, the obsessively perfect finishing – it’s just lovely. I’ll treat myself to a second hand one one day – but now I’ve seen a Ricky Cheyenne bass – which are as rare as hen’s teeth – so as something must go and it makes sense, sadly, to sell the new guitar in my collection while its still new. Condition: NEW - played at home twice for less than 10 minutes since it arrived in the box. It’s was made at the PRS factory in Marland in 2014, I bought it in 2016 and it’s lived in a near new Hiscox Case since. I’m throwimg in the case. Not a mark on the guitar obviously – lovely and shiny Seafoam Green (now a discontinued colour so a collector’s item). Perfect guitar Questions, Shipping, Insurance ….. Me.
