What makes this guitar special: A superb player with a great vibe. The slender maple neck is silky smooth & very comfortable to play. The Pat No. humbuckers sound fantastic, delivering rich, creamy tones & sustain that lasts forever! Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so she's ready for action straight out of the case!Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear - just the way we like 'em - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash, weather checking & some finish wear. There are four unoriginal screw holes in the top around the bridge. The previous owner had a synth pickup mounted at one time, but was removed quite a while ago. The original gold finish had worn off much of the hardware so the previous owner painted gold over the pickup covers, bridge & tailpiece. The original tailpiece was really not longer functional so we replaced it with brand new one, however, the original is included with the guitar. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.Neck: Slender profile, 3-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. 5-ply headstock binding with mother of pearl diamond inlays. A portion of the binding is missing on both the treble & bass sides of the headstock. Original Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.Body: Solid mahogany body with 3-piece, plain maple top finished in Heritage Cherry sunburst. 7-ply top binding & 5-ply back binding. Original stopbar tailpiece repainted in gold with brand new Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 10.25 lbs.Pickups: Original Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers that were repainted. Bridge - 7.39K ohms; Neck - 7.43K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots are original & all electronics are in perfect working condition.Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
