This Cherry Epiphone Vintage G-400 has been transformed into a Zakk Wylde sounding beast.
The body have been heat-treated in an oxygen-free kiln, making it highly resonant and extremely stable. It's as if the wood is pre-aged. It sounds like wood that's been broken in for many years. The neck have been tempered and calibrated for better sonic vibration and overall sound.
I have professionally installed 2 EMG ZW 81/85 Zakk Wylde Humbuckers, and all EMG top notch electronics to the guitar, as you can see in the pictures.
The guitar sounds truly amazing with fantastic play-ability, great for metal/ hard rock/ punk, with the typical Zakk's guitar sound that uses the EMG ZW 81/85 humbuckers... we are talking about guitars that cost from $2,500 to over $6,000.
I have played this guitar on my Peavey VYPYR 120 Watt Tube Amp, my Marshall 100 Watt Tube Amp and my Fender 100 watt solid state amp... the louder you go the more evil metal craziness is released, as EMG's are well known to cut thru anything when you turn up the volume! comes with padded gig-bag.
I'm selling it with regret only to help my daughter pay for her college tuition. The Epiphone G-400 guitar body is very balanced and light weight. Once you start playing this beauty, you may not stop for a few hours... good news is that is so light that it won't hurt your shoulder!
