Relished due to winner bidder who changed his mind after auction. You're bidding on this Carvin CT6M handmade USA guitar in good condition apart from a chip from the front of the guitar ( see pics) I bought this direct from the factory in 2001, and have loved owning it. I'm selling as I have too many guitars and amplifiers ( see my other auctions) and this is not getting used, so I'd rather it went to a new home. It's a heavy guitar - Mahogany body with beautiful maple top. The next has an ebony fret board with abalone mother of pearl inlays, and plays beautifully across the neck.The pickups are Carvin's own, and are very adjustable ( I never bothered as it sounds great as it is), and are also coil tapped via the tone knob.Here's the blurb from the manafacturer website ( note when this was bought they were called Carvin) Kiesel Guitars uses hand selected genuine mahogany for the body and the neck, which adds warmth and accentuates the low and mid-range tone of the instrument. Mahogany is considered to be a classic tone wood, and is denser and heavier than alder, but lighter than maple. The CT6 comes standard with a beautifully sculpted top of the finest bookmatched AAAA curly flamed maple with natural body binding and matching headstock. Bookmatched AAAA quilted maple and flamed koa tops are also offered. The Custom Shop's exclusive deep-triple step finishing process creates an almost 3-dimensional depth to the figure of the flamed or quilted top. Only the maple top is finished; the back of the guitar and neck are finished in clear gloss, allowing the natural mahogany to show through. Set-in neck heel and lower body cutout allow easy uninhibited access at the 22nd fret.o can choose from an assortment of inlays made from genuine abalone, mother-of-pearl or colored acrylic, in dots, diamonds or blocks. Standard frets are medium-jumbo nickel, with stainless steel, jumbo and low-wide frets optional. Kiesel Guitars' "M" bridge is standard, with fully-adjustable tune-o-matic bridge and strings fed through the body for additional sustain. You can also select a Wilkinson tremolo, or a genuine Floyd Rose tremolo, with or without locking nut. Premium locking tuners with a 19:1 ratio ensure your CT6 will stay in tune, regardless of your bridge selection or playing style. Hardware is chrome, with black or gold hardware optional. Electronics consist of a single volume and tone control, with a 3-way pickup selector. The tone control doubles as a push/pull coil splitter, which doubles the effect range of the pickups.
