The horn is an excellent playing instruments, plays like a new horn. The bell reads - Made by the Boston Musical Instrument Manfury. There sort of the double leaf symbol and also reads Late E. G, Wright & Co. Boston. This exact instrument style can be found in the Boston instrument catalog from 1869. The company was established by a partnership of partners, workers, Graves & co and E.G. Wright & Co. E. G. Wright died in 1871 and it appears that his horn would have been made shortly after this date.The condition is very good with a couple of small dings on the first bow and the next pipe. The bell measures 8 inches and is 29 1/2 inches high.
