In perfect condition but with numerous relevant and practical upgrades - all done by Eltham Jones of Edge Guitar Services Bristol1. Stainless steel frets2. Floyd Rose Pro Bridge (low profile)3. Push-Push Tone pots (not push-pull)4. Schaller Strap Locks5. Gotoh Double Cream Alnico V HumbuckersStainless Steel Frets1.3mm high x 2.4mm wideLovely for bluesy bendingFloyd Rose Pro BridgeLow profile, with the fine-tuners well out of the way, rather than irritating the palm of your hand. Also - and quite relevant for the Les Paul, string spacing is slightly narrower - closer to Gibson specifications - so string alignment with the poles of the pickup magnets is perfect (see pic).Push-Push tone pots These effect series / parallel switching of the pickups. Much more convenient than push-pull pots that you need to pull out. Push once, the pot pops up - parallel wiring.Push again the pot goes back down - normal series wiring.
Strap locksThat one is obvious really. But these can be used with ordinary straps too.
PickupsI do have a set of Gibson Classic 57s (zebra) that I could arrange to have installed for you but do please read what's below - you may be surprised.I didn't like the original high output 496R and 498T pickups (the neck pick up was a ceramic magnet as well).I wanted a nice traditional classic sound - like a Seymour Duncan '59, but I rather fancied double cream humbuckers.  Apparently only DiMarzio is allowed to make them - and I don't like the higher output Dimarzio sound. Then I found these Gotoh four conductor PAF type pick ups. - Alnico V- DC Resistance 7.9 kOhms- Wax-potted- and they sound great in parallel mode too...!Basic Specs that make the Access different (which you probably knew already)- Iced Tea Sunburst- sculpted heel joint which makes upper fret access very easy (hence the name 'Axcess')- Tummy contour (like on a Strat)- Comes with original Gibson Case and custom shop certificate of authenticity
