Bertrem) costruito a mano in chiave di sib (non in chiave di DO come i comuni flauti da concerto!). Speciale piede in SIb, vale a dire con trombino che ottiene però la nota LAb reale del pianoforte! Per questo esemplare in argento massiccio, che fà parte di una serie di Flauti d'amore, che comprende esemplari come Altus Flute d'Amore Britannia Silver e altri flauti d'amore con piede con piede in SIb, in SI e in DO, vi prego di chiedere la effettiva disponibilità, prima di fare la vostra offerta e tuttavia potrebbe non essere disponibile in tempi brevi. La Selmer USA/Steinway Musical Instruments in corsa perenne di acquisizione di case produttrici minori americane, nel 1997 dismise la produzione dei rari flauti in SIb che una di queste case produceva ancora in esemplari limitati ma a prezzi vantaggiosi. I Bb Flute sono prodotti su ordinazione da un paio di famose case giapponesi, con prezzi che vanno da poco meno di 10.000 euro a quasi 20.000 euro, tanto è che sono sconosciuti ai più. Il presente esemplare è uno dei pochi esistenti al mondo con piede in SIb, costruito a mano da un maestro artigiano statunitense e non giapponese che non sia della partita dei già rari e ambiti esemplari USA costruiti fino agli anni '90 ma prodotti in serie e meno curati. Questo tipo di strumento è fortemente e purtroppo vanamente ricercato dai tenorsassofonisti professionisti di tutto il mondo, che vogliono abbinare un secondo strumento al sax, senza dover trasporre tutti i loro brani di repertorio e tutte le tonalità necessarie all'improvvisazione jazz dal SIb del sax tenore, alla tonalità di DO del flauto traverso.
