Vintage Lyon & Healy Couturier Symphonic Soprano Saxophone
I believe this to be a Vintage Lyon & Healy Couturier Soprano Saxophone from around the 1920-1930's.This is a Bb Low Pitch horn that has been cleaned and repadded with Roopads and Selmer style plastic resonators. New neck cork.
Satin silver body length is 25.5 inches with silver plated keys and silver bell. Keyed to high F.
The engraving has 4 leaf clovers similar to the Couturier "rose".
Main keywork is almost identical to a Conn New Wonder II except for the G# key.
Beveled Martin-like toneholes.
Comes with case and good condition original mouthpiece stamped Lyon & Healy. 3 or 4 small dings but no dents.
Very sweet sounding vintage horn and prefers the large chamber mouthpiece.
