Here’s a custom made 2004 Rono (Ron Oate’s, builder) 5 String Electric Mandolin. Its condition is virtually new, with no real noticeable play wear. No significant blemishes worthy of note, and while purchased second hand, I believe most of its life has been in the case. Two pickups with switch (I believe these are Bill Lawrence Humbuckers) and a very powerful punch. Attractive and clean finish that appears to be flaming maple, equipped with Grotoh tuners. A very fine instrument. In the 5 years I have owned it, it only came out of the case for a few recording tracks and a little practice. I don’t have a link to a website, but googling Rono Mandolin may give you some perspective. Ron’s respect for quality crafted mandolins has been the hallmark of his products and reputation as one of the finer custom builders in the genre.
