This just came in after waiting almost two years to get!!!!! You are looking at a BRAND NEW Eastman EBJ-WL1. This is a faithful recreation of a 1903 A.C. Fairbanks Whyte Laydie No. 2. It is a exact copy of the classic open back turn-of-the-century banjo and mimics the original in every way with the exception of the geared turners. Hoop; Maple, Neck:3 Piece Maple/Ebony, Head: Coated, Finish: Varnish, Fretboard: Ebony, Inlay: Custom Pearl, Tuning Machines: Chrome Planetary, Nut: Bone, Rim is light weight 3/8" thick & 10 3/4" in diameter. The scale length is 26". Hard Case included. Each instrument is hand made and will have slight imperfections as any hand made instrument would. They are one of a kind pieces of working art.
