For your consideration is a vintage pair of Acoustic Energy AE1's. These are the real deal originals and not the remakes. These are the preferred monitor of Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, Air) who, in my opinion, is the best engineer currently working. There are some scuffs/scratches on the cabinets, and what looks like some corrosion on the woofer frames (probably from when they were refoamed I'd imagine), but they are still very presentable and they sound great. These are incredible speakers! Be sure you have a decently powerful amp to drive them as they are pretty power hungry. The Acoustic Energy AE1 Classic remakes cost $1,999 a pair! Get the very hard to come by originals for much cheaper here. They will be packed with extreme care and shipped quickly. I try to ship the same day I receive payment.
