This is an extremely rare Kay B-5 baby bass (1/4 size) in excellent playing condition. It's an estate piece that was well kept and not played out of the home. There are a couple of small dings that have been repaired and spot refinished but the instrument is in very good condition overall. The original bridge had started to warp so we installed a new one cut to the same shape but thicker. The original will be included. The board is also original and in very good condition. All seams are tight, tuners are firm and function well. It's currently strung with D'Addario Helicore H-550 strings and tuned as a viol (E,A,D,and G). Sounds great and it's really fun to play piz or with a bow. An excellent instrument for small acoustic groups. It ships with what might be the original bow but we can't confirm that. It also comes with the original bag but we'll ship it in a fiberglass cello case. That case has a few dings and cracks but will definitely get it to you safely.
