On offer is a very well and near new GODIN MONTREAL PREMIERE, 100% made in Canadian, from Canadian timbers and products NOT ASIAN SOURCED! This is a hand made high end intermediate to professional level guitar, for the serious player but also for the discerning home player who wants something different from Gibson, but better than Epiphone, but yet pay thousands of dollars. GODIN represents true value, quality company mission statement and core beliefs, and a love for music and instruments. Here are the specs and it will be shipped in the lovely brown hardcase that you see in the pics with insurance! Also very easy and comfortable to play, sits nicely and the ergonomics are well thought out, but then again Godin put effort into being guitars for real musicians. Montreal Premiere
The Godin Montreal Premiere is a thinline, semi-hollow body electric and is destined to become instant favorite within your guitar collection. This Signature series model is a vibrant & versatile electric guitar for rock, blues and jazz players alike! It features an innovative and unique "breathe-through" carved spruce core, inside its Canadian wild cherry top, back & sides. This gives the body of the Montreal Premiere an astounding resonance unlike any other guitar in its class.Just as a summary, I have tested this through a Peavey Classic 30 and the cleans are very good, especially with a splash of reverb. The tone and volume controls are responsive but don't go from everything to nothing all of a sudden but have a proper tapering off. The tone control is excellent, and I find for a more jazzy tone, the tone rolled back to about 4 is delightful. I used some compression and it responds well to that (see my Route 66 comp/OD dual pedal I am selling, it works perfectly with this guitar). Lastly, this guitar sounds great with overdrive! Creamy, rich and full, yet on the bridge pickup it has enough top end to cut through and is just a lot of fun really. At full gain settings there was no feedback or squealing whatsoever, a problem that many hollow bodies (and some semi hollow bodies) suffer from but not this guitar. Excellent for blues, hard rock, but yet versatile enough for lovely clean jazz, melodic soloing lines and whatever you're into. If you want something versatile, then the Godin Montreal Premiere is definitely going to get into the sonic ballpark of many genres. Ready to ship as soon as PayPal hits and I won't make you wait for the PayPal funds to then hit my bank account before shipping (that drives me nuts) but will try and get it out the door the same door where possible. NO LONG WAITS!!Peace to all!
