1964 Fender Champ- Black Tolex w/Tweed Circuit 5F1-Original Pre-CBS Tone Monster

This auction is for an original 1964 Fender Champ...yep, the transitional blackface one with the tweed circuit - get all the great tone of the tweed circuit with the much more modern and durable black tolex. This one was made in April of 1964 (ND) and boasts a Jensen C8R speaker with a manufacturing code of 220429 that everyone knows is the 29th week of 1964. It has just been serviced and two of the smaller caps were out of spec and replaced - everything else on that end I believe to be original including the tubes. Original transformers of course. Power cord has been replaced with a grounded one for safety. As shown, the control panel is in great condition and the power light works as intended. Now, how do this guy sound? Relatively clean until maybe four and as you crank it, that great tube overdrive kicks in. For such a small amp they have a lot of kick and work great mic'd up - of course they weigh next to nothing and really make a great gigging amp or just use it in your studio or bedroom.
