Hello all. First of all, I stand by what I say and what I sell. If you are not happy, I will do my best to fix things. I am a band director by trade and I saw this instrument and I HAD to pick it up.The item I am selling is a Conn 8D Double French Horn. The bell is Nickel Silver. This item is NOT one of the inferior horns built in Abilene. I know that because the serial number, which is shown, has one double digit number and then another number. These models, adding 50 to the first number gives you the year it was made. Therefore, it was made in 1989. I tried all the valves and slides. They all work and move freely. I had a couple of college French Horn students try it. The really enjoyed it. It DOES come with a black hard case, But I forgot to take pics of it. (I have the horn at work) It is a standard hard black case. It DOES NOT come with a mouthpiece. Also, as you can tell, the nickel silver has seen better days but does NOT affect the great quality of sound.
It has been a long time since I have sold anything. I do have a GREAT reputation. Just look it up.I am selling it for a VERY low price. I do that so hopefully a young kid who has some cash that needs a new hi
