Beautiful Fender Telecaster. This is a 72 Deluxe Reissue. One owner! Two Fender Wide Range Humbucking Pickups. Two volume knobs, two tone knobs, three way pickup selector switch. If you want Les Paul tone, but Fender comfort, look no further. That is why I bought it. Very well cared for and maintained. It was my go to guitar for years during practice and church. I've played everything from John Mayer and pop, to Led Zeppelin and Metallica, to modern church music and old hymns. This guitar handles it all beautifully! You can get deep throaty rock, and clear cleans with ease. The neck pickup is warm and rich, the bridge is bright without the shrill bell tone that plagues some instruments. Very balanced and rich tone while maintaining the unique properties of each pickup.Using the middle selection and blending some of the volume off of one pickup can give you something similar to the strat position 2/4 tone. Not the same as a genuine strat quack. But it'll get you by in a pinch.All the electrical components are in tip top shape. I'd get it serviced by fender certified technicians for cleaning annually. I regularly maintained the neck and fretboard and would oil it every few string sets. The fretboard was routinely wiped down after playing. The neck is currently set up for gauge 10 strings. The guitar case is included. It is a fender hardshell case that is fitted/molded for telecaster/stratocaster type bodies. There is a compartment in the case that I couldn't photographI tried to photograph the two small blemishes on the guitar. One is due to a belt buckle from before I bought it new 10 years ago. And the other is because a friend knocked it off the guitar stand. The scratch is on the back and is hardly noticeable. The other is a nick in the finish. It is wood deep. But did not chip the wood. Neither of these blemishes effect the guitars tone or playability. Neither of these blemishes are visible while playing the guitar.Please feel free to message me with any questions.
