Hi there, yes. You are looking at my 14"x6" DW Sabian Edge 40th Anniversary Snare Drum. #18 of 50. This drum is made from a 11 ply old growth birch wood. The Edges are melted Sabian cymbals. Also it's hardware is finished in a special 40th anniversary run of pewter finish. I have used this in my studio on and off since I bought it. I did purchase this from Vic of Vic's Drums in Chicago. I considered it a possible once in a life time purchase and was not planning on selling this. But here I am. Bills due. Time to cut my losses. This drum is in great shape. I have only rehearsed and recorded with this drum. Some Edge drums are really loud. This drum is more versatile than just a loud drum. Very playable at different volumes and tunings. The 3 position throw off makes it easy to change snare tensions. The rim and Edge combo make for a delightful rimshot and cross stick playability. There is some rim wear from playing it. Including some inner rim scuffs from my Rabb Drumbal effects cymbal. Also a couple of little spots from handling or being in the cradle of the stand. Please see the pictures. This maybe considered more of a player than a pristine collectors because of these imperfections. But that is in the eye of the beholder. Its is in great shape. There were only 50 of these made. The last one I saw on here, sold for $3000. Thanks for checking this out.
