UPDATED FOR 2017!!The Scarlett 30™ is the first signature amp we’ve ever done and is the culmination of our collaboration with Nigel Hendroff from Hillsong Church in Australia. Nigel Hendroff is one of the most influential guitarists in the history of Christian music. His style and tone have been copied by 1,000′s of musicians worldwide and his influence only continues to grow. It is because of his dedication to Jackson Ampworks and worldwide influence that we first approached him about doing a Signature Model amplifier.Designed specifically for musicians who play church music, the Scarlett 30 allows those players to achieve the same tone as Nigel with an amplifier that is fully featured, very affordable and offers many of the features that church players need on a weekly basis.“The Scarlett 30 covers any sound across the tonal spectrum and I can control the volume to match the size of the room!”Nigel Hendroff
Hillsong ChurchAvailable in a head or combo configuration. Black and Ivory, Hot Scarlett and Ivory and Vox Fawn and Ivory are standard colors. Call for quote for all other colors. We are very pleased to announce the renewed partnership with Nigel Hendroff of Hillsong Church and the release of the new and improved Scarlett 30 ver.2. The version 2 of the Scarlett 30 gives players even more of what made the Scarlett 30 one of the most versatile amps available for church musicians! The new updates are listed below: We have spec’ed out a new set of transformers for the Scarlett 30 ver.2 that gives greater frequency response and a more solid and robust low-end, along with a revised power supply that works with the new transformers to deliver more clean headroom and dynamic response. Finally we have redesigned the tone controls on the Scarlett 30 ver.2 to give them more useful range without the harsh high-end frequencies that are common in Top Boost style circuits. In summation, the new Scarlett 30 ver.2 has all the same features as the original Scarlett 30 but is now louder, cleaner and has more dynamic range and a more user friendly set of tone controls “My main focus when building a signature amp was to design something that could be used by musicians in any size venue and be affordable.  I play everything from  stadiums to small 50 seat chapels and I needed an amp that would perform in any of those environments without sacrificing my tone, and for me, the  Scarlett 30 (named after my daughter Scarlett!) does that perfectly. Big or small room, low or high volume, the Scarlett 30 will cover any sound across the tonal spectrum.” “When I first started talking to Brad about building a signature model amplifier, we both agreed that we would base it on the AC30 Top Boost. I have been mostly happy with the Vox and Matchless amps I used for most of my career, but there were a couple of changes I knew I wanted to make to really customize my tone.” “First off, I knew I wanted the amp to have a mid-range control. I find that many players have either too much or too little mid-range in their sound, and the inclusion of a Mid control with a Top Boost type amp really addresses this. I was surprised at how versatile it made the amp to be. I can dial up any tone from chimey cleans, jazz, country to rock all in one amp!” “Second but more importantly, I wanted to create an amp for players that would perform flawlessly at low levels, and a suggestion that Brad made was to include power scaling to help tame the overall volume. I love the fact that with the power scaling you can roll the volume back for a small room or crank it in a stadium without any tone loss! The amp retains the sponginess of the tube rectifier and still has incredible attack even when running it at 1/8W! The amp is also super responsive. Whether I play delicate or heavy handed, the amp responds accordingly regardless of where the power is set.”
