DescriptionCrossTown Customs creates vintage looking and sounding instruments, without vintage prices, using original factory Fender guitars and parts. CTC started making TimeWarp guitars and parts for the player who wanted a vintage Fender instrument, not a licensed parts guitar that looked like a Fender and didn't want to drop 5k. They are amazing looking and sounding guitars that give you everything you want in a vintage guitar but the price. This TW59 started its journey as a 2016 Fender Stratocaster 60s Road Worn, and was taken to a whole new level with Custom Shop quality touches. The work and attention to detail that went into it takes this guitar is amazing, right down to the pickups, which are Fender Pure Vintage 59s and cloth wired to a REAL 1960s Sprague drop cap, to the Custom Shop Special Edition real world Relic case.The thin 100% factory Nitro was aged to look like a true vintage work horse that had played every corner of the world and lived to tell about it. The neck was aged to match the body, with checking to the Nitro, aged dot inlays and the factory decal is made to look like it's above the finish, just like it was in 1959. Part of the TimeWarp process is to remove the serial number and stamp it into the heel of the neck, which adds to the aura and keeps the important serial number with the neck. A random 1959 number is stamped into the neck plate. The neck is a C profile with 7.25" radius and Medium Jumbo frets, and is straight and true, without issues. It's a blast to play and feels and sounds ad good as it looks. The bottom tone pot is wired to control the bridge and middle pickups to better control your tone. While it's a relic, it is a NOS guitar and was created to look this way. There are no issues, and it's as good or better than the original for 1/4 of the price. It's a great looking and sounding guitar that looks and sounds vintage, and is a breeze to play, and you can afford to play it out... and when you do, everyone will ask what year it is...
