Description Brand: Seventy Seven Body Material: Solid Wood Model: Albatross Jazz String Configuration: 6 String Body Type: Semi-Hollow Soundboard Style: Carved Right-/ Left-Handed: Right-Handed Items Included: Case Body Colour: Natural Country/Region of Manufacture: Japan Size: Full Size
No Reserve! This is a near-mint example of a Seventy Seven Albatross Jazz in its original hard case. It's basically similar to a 335 in construction but significantly smaller and lighter. If you've always wanted a semi but you're put off by the bulkiness of the 335 types, this is for you - it's balanced and manageable. I've never gigged it as I'm a Parker man but I'd be happy to take this to any gig.You get a mahogany body and neck with a spruce top and a maple centre block and gold hardware. Study the pictures - you can see this is real class; a high-end Japanese build which means it's as good as anything in the world. It's also one of the first ones made and therefore came with factory Seymour Duncans (Seventy Seven subsequently switched to their own pickups) which is surely an added bonus, especially as they can be split to give single coil sounds - very versatile.A new one (without the Duncans) will set you back around £1600 so this is a serious bit of kit. The hard case is also real quality. Now, cash on collection would be favourite for me but I understand it may be no good for you. I am quite happy to pack it for you but YOU MUST ARRANGE AND PAY FOR A COURIER YOURSELF. That way it will be your choice of courier and level of insurance, and also your responsibility once it leaves my house.
