Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1967 Rogers model # 25 " Powertone" snare drum.This drum has a factory installed Rogers " script" logo badge. The serial number on the interior mounted paper label is 17551. According to the Rogers history website, this serial number indicates a manufacturing date of 1967. The all-wood shell measures 5" deep x 14" wide, and it is factory finished in grey-speckled "resocoat" enamel on the inside. As you can see from my pictures, the wooden shell is in perfectly in round, and the bearing edges retain their original factory profile. This drum is factory wrapped in Rogers "green sparkle", the pearloid wrap is beautifully preserved, and it has not aged or faded in any way.This drum is factory equipped with eight Rogers "Beavertail" lug casings, two Rogers triple-flanged steel hoops, 16 Rogers tension rods, a Rogers "Swiv-O-matic" snare mechanism and matching butt assembly, and a Rogers internal muffler assembly. All of the metal parts are brilliantly plated in chrome, but there is some light pitting on each of the lug casings. Proper Rogers logo snare wires have been installed on this drum, while newer Remo Ambassador drum heads have been installed, along with new snare cords.
