The original Super 70 pickups (a fine pickup in it's own reicht) were replaced with boutique OX4s ($350) making this guitar sound amazing! Many people feel that the Japanese guitars from the late 70s and early 80s were among the best guitars ever built! This Artist is almost perfect, having only one small ding which I tried to photograph on the back of the bout.The guitar ships in a newer Gator case and with Thomastik Infeld "Benson" Strings.An absolutely gorgeous piece.
