The Morgan Fry Vintage is based on the 'Double Ring' chamber from the 1950's. The moderate baffle and large, shallow chamber give these a beautiful balance of sound. Thick and warm, but with the ability to brighten up substantially. It's the perfect mouthpiece for straight-ahead jazz, and if you're the type of player that likes to do all your gigs on one mouthpiece, this is a solid candidate (Martin Williams of the BBC band plays one of these on everything). In gold plated brass with integrated ligature with interchangeable plates included. Size 7* is in stock, any other sizes can be made to order.
