Offered is a Wallace Williams trombone in original condition. I am not sure of the bore, but I suspect it may be smaller than .500. The bell is 7 inches The pictures make the horn look a little better than it actually is. They were professionally done and is what was provided to me when I purchased this horn years ago. There is a blemish in the lacquer on the lower bell section that cannot be seen in the pictures. The bell is dent free, hand slide needs a cleaning, the water key is perfect, and I added a rubber nipple on the hand slide. The hand slide does not have a slide lock and the bone is a friction fit. The case is original, except for the connectors that attach the case handle to the case. The slide was sent to the Slide Doctor and recently returned….I will provide that documentation to the purchaser. Serial number looks as follows 2, with the 288 directly under it. The mouthpiece is marked 17. I have never seen a mouthpiece made by Earl Williams and I doubt he made this one. I believe I was told by someone years ago that Earl never made any mouthpieces. I am not an expert in these trombones, but will do my best to answer questions if I can. I will take a picture of the blemish in the lacquer and send it out as needed.
