Tokai TST55 Stratocaster 1980’s all original s/hLake Placid Blue, Rosewood NeckHere is a rare opportunity to get hold of one of the fabled Japanese Strat’s from Tokai made in the early 80’s, un-molested all original and in very good to excellent condition.This Tokai is well used but in good condition for its age – over 30 years old now! Some dents and bucklerash are apparent and the hardware is nice and faded or rusted up a bit, as can be seen in the photos. However there is nothing affecting playability, and it plays excellently.A few decades ago, Tokai made Fender copies so good that there were people saying the Tokai guitars were better than the Fender versions – so good that eventually Fender hired many of the same builders for Tokai to produce guitars for them in Japan.
