The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   Fender introduced the American Standard Precision Bass guitar in 1951, and its thick sound and indestructible build changed popular music. Today's American Standard Precision Bass is a version of one of the greatest instruments of bass heroes past and present; the modern interpretation of Fender's classic instrument refined for modern players.This American Standard Precision Bass has a high-mass vintage bridge, Fender Custom Shop Precision Bass split single-coil pickup, Alder body with a thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance, Maple neck with a richer and deeper tint for a more elegant appearance, 20 medium jumbo fret RW fretboard, chrome hardware, and 3 color sunburst finish. Comes with hardshell case.  This bass came from Fender as a slight flaw, which means slight cosmetic flaw or an overstock item. There is a small scratch on the back of the neck at the 6th fret. This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it! Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
