There was a minor repair I did to the binding in the cutaway where a seam had opened up and needed to be re-glued and sealed. There's a small amount of finish flake just right next to the binding where it came away.
I have also levelled and crowned the frets and set it up to play low and easy. It plays incredibly well and sounds phenomenal. Lots of fret life left.
Caps have been upgraded to Jensen .015 neck and .022 bridge. Pots are original as are pickups, switch, tuners.....I am a professional guitar tech/luthier. Work has been done to a very high standard with the aim of improving the instrument for years of trouble free use.Pictures tell the story. There's a small amount of lacquer checking around the pots and also near the switch. Quite common on goldtop Les Pauls. These are incredible guitars capable of anything from old school jazz and blues to Pink Floyd and any other style you want.Guitar weighs in at a very reasonable 9 pounds 3 oz.
