I opened the top of the box when I received this drum but never removed the snare drum from the box. I had bought a Gretsch Custom Set at about the same time and was very happy with my new Gretsch. A stick has never touched this Ludwig drum nor an adjustment made. The photo of the drum was made from an online example. I paid more for this drum than I am selling it for and realize I will be taking a loss. It remains in the box it was shipped in--BRAND NEW. It is a unique opportunity for someone seriously looking for this specific drum. As you can see from my reviews, I sell items exactly as I describe them.
