25TH ANNIVERSARY LAKE SUPERIOR FIDDLEBACK MAPLE

Here's the most unique opportunity to own the Drum Workshop 25th Anniversary Special Edition Collector Series from 1997!  This drum was ordered in 1997 I have the full 6 Piece Drum set of this 25th Anniversary Natural Fiddleback Timeless Timber Collector Set.My drum set sizes are 14" Snare 8", 10", 12" and 14" Toms and 22x20 Kick Drum.I'm only selling the Snare in this Auction. This particular edition is in the Natural with "Book-Matched" Fiddleback Maple laquer finish with the 25th Anniverary commemorative badge. Also, "DW" wood inlay using Maple, Mahogany, and Teak. The limited-edition drums are TimberMatched all-Maple proportionate-ply shells with graduating reinforcing hoops, precision bearing edges, and True-Pitch Tuning System. This snare is in excellent condition and was purchased by me {1 owner} in 1997.The snare drum has never been outside of the studio and has stayed in a temperature, climate controlled environment for it's whole life ....19 years so it doesn't have any oxidation or pitting and the chrome hardware is like new and there are no scratches on the drum In addition to expanding its product line, DW continues to create new drum concepts. John now carries the nickname as DW’s “woodologist,” continually searching out different wood to create unique sets. In the late ‘90s, John learned of 500-year-old hardwood that had sunk in Lake Superior 100 years ago. The logs were harvested by underwater treasure hunters and used to create DW’s Timeless Timber line, featuring 25th Anniversary Lake Superior Maple sets in 1997 and DW’s 30th anniversary Lake Superior Birch sets in 2002 (pictured at left).
