Up for sale is a 2000 Gibson SG Standard in very good condition. This guitar was owned by an older gentleman (whom I know personally) who originally purchased the guitar brand new back in 2000. He hadn't played it in years and it remained mostly in the case. The guitar is all stock with the 490/498 pickups. Original brown Gibson case with the grave cloth. The case is good condition. I'm not sure what the neck profile is but it does have some girth to it. The guitar is well balanced and feels solid. The strings are low and plays with ease. There are no fret issues, whatsoever -- and has a lot of fret life left on this 17-year-old guitar: no buzzing, no dead notes -- everything is working on this fine instrument. The guitar was professionally set up by Arlington Fret Works with a fresh set of 10s on the SG.There are a couple of light dings but very imperceptible (but worth mentioning). Thanks for looking.
