Up for sale is my beautiful G&L Comanche solid body electric guitar. The Serial Number is CLF 29712. This is a fabulous guitar in perfect condition. It was professionally set up at Goez Instrument Service in St. Louis, MO. I believe this was made May 1st of 2003 as per a note inside the case indicates, but I cannot guarantee this….I am the second owner and have had it at least 10 years. It has been played very little and has been kept in a climate controlled, smoke free environment.   The G&L Comanche® is Leo’s final word on the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on design. You will notice the Comanche has a very distinctive mark of the Z shape of the Magnetic Field Design™ Z-Coil™ pickups designed by Leo Fender† himself. These pickups deliver a bright and sparkly top end while offering a robust bottom end, all without any 60-cycle hum. There is plenty of power in these Z-coil pickups, but what’s surprising is how versatile and different they become as you roll back the volume and tone controls, the latter a part of the Comanche’s PTB™ (Passive Treble and Bass) system. The Comanche includes a mini-toggle switch to expand the sound to allow a neck + bridge or all three pickups together. How about this for versatility?!! This great axe also makes the most of Leo’s Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with good stability. You just have to play this in order to truly appreciate it. The Comanche was the very last double-cutaway bolt-on guitar designed by Leo Fender, the culmination of everything he had learned during his amazing lifetime. This Comanche was made at the historic G&L USA facility founded by Leo Fender in 1980, located on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the Birthplace of the  “Bolt-on”™ .
