2008 Gibson custom shop VOS Slash Les Paul Standard Gibson custom shop model was based on a Les Paul standard Slash was given in 1988.
400 of the VOS (vintage original spec.) version were produced. This one is numbered 200. Finished with Gibson’s proprietary VOS finishing process that yields the gently aged patina of a vintage classic. The finish is heritage cherry sunburst finish, faded to perfection just like Slash’s original.
Carved 3 piece AA figured maple top with antique vintage sunburst nitro-cellulose lacquer finish (burst colour formula personally chosen by Slash) & a one-piece mahogany back & an un-chambered mahogany body. Custom Slash-designed artwork and logo on the headstock and case. Comes with a Slash custom shop case and certificate of authenticity. The guitar is in near mint condition with no fret wear, dings, dents or any other 'issues'. More info is available in this Gibson promotional video:
