This is an American Standard Strat Plus in rare graffiti yellow.  I have owed this guitar for 14 years, purchased from the original owener who was an avid collector friend of mine with a collection of over 80 guitars all top quality. The guitar was made at the Corona factory USA and is dated June 1988 which makes it 30 years old next year. In 1987 the Fender Custom shop was established at the Corona plant and one of the first jobs for the Custom Shop was to make a yellow Vintage reissue Strat for Jeff Beck. At this stage Beck vetoed Fenders wish to produce a Jeff Beck signature edition Strat, and the design intended for that purpose then evolved into the Strat Plus.  The guitar is in excellent condition with very little fret wear with just a few almost imperceptable dings on the front only noticeable at very close inspection. It has 3 gold lace pick-ups, Wilkinson roller nut, Schaller string locking tuners, 5 position selector switch, TBX on the tone control and a American standard tremolo arm, The guitar has a maple neck which is dead straight with a great low action and stays perfectly in tune.   It comes complete with the original butterfly hardcase, Fender strap, tags, American series booklet, original duster and Tremelo springs in original packaging.  This is a genuine reluctant sale due to my inability to continue playing as a result of a deteriorating hand condition.
