For your consideration is this set of antique organ pipes. The set of 27 pipes comes in it's original quartersawn oak framework and measures 45 1/2" tall, just over 5' long and 19" front to back. They likely date to the late 19th or early 20th century. These are painted wood decorative pipes and were used by manufacturers of the day to simulate the look of a large air driven pipe organ for their smaller organs. They are solid, not hollow with a decorative red and gold painted surface. The set remains in very nice, clean as found condition. Upon close inspection a few of the pipes have a slightly different hue, indicating they may have been repainted at some time. It's really nothing that detracts. The darker areas in the photos are shadows in the sun. The set really has no condition issues and is ready for whatever project you have in mind. They are being offered estate fresh so help yourself. Please study the photos and e-mail with any questions you may have. They are obviously too big for package express but I'm happy to work with the shipper of your choice. Blanket wrap delivery could be available to certain areas of the US. Please e-mail with location. I do get to Atlanta, St. Louis and Chicago on a regular basis or as always you are welcome to pick up in central Illinois. Please see my other listings and ebay store for more antiques, art and lighting.
