paper invoice found in the case dated 1959 from the H. N. White Co. for this trombone suggests the trombone was likely factory relacquered at that time.  The original engraving remains very clear and the body lacquer is overall excellent with some scratches to the nickle plated portions of the slide handle area.  There are a few areas of slight loss of lacquer and there is a small bell tube dent found to the very back portion of the bell tube.  On the lower underside portion of the bell there is a ping small indentation and two small crease dents.  These are found to bottom side of bell about halfway from the bell edge.The slide shows no plating wear and the slide and slide action are superb.Unfortunately the original King wood case although very solid has a very strong musty odor and will have to be professionally cleaned or rebuilt if kept as the odor is extreme.Trombone will be very carefully packaged.  Shipped Priority Mail with required signature within 2 business days.
