I just took this neck off a Fender Custom Shop Body and wanted to post this for sale before I could change my mind.
I bought a 1957 Fender Telecaster somewhere around 1974. The original body and all it's parts are long gone but I have had this neck on variety of Telecaster bodies over the years. It was re fretted and over sprayed by the late Eddie Murray Of E.U. Wurlitzer's EU CO Frets division in Boston,MA in the late 70's.
The decal and string tree are original to the neck. The nut and machine heads may be as well but I am not sure. The neck profile has been described to me as a soft C. The neck itself is thinner than most of the Fender necks of that era. There is a crack above and below the nut that was repaired at the same time as the re fret and is only a cosmetic issue. I have maintained the frets over the years and the neck is in superb condition. The truss rod works just the way it should no issues. I have played this neck since I bought it but it has not been played recently and I think it is time for someone else to enjoy playing the way I have all these years. Email with questions.. My apologies for the quality of the photos. I will try to someone with more skill to take some more photos and post them ASAP.
