Country/Region of Manufacture: Japan Model: Les Paul Gold Top

BRILLIANT Les Paul by Tokai, Made in Japan, with immaculate construction. I have owned many Gibsons, and outside the Custom Shop, this holds it own with the best of them. IMHO, the only guitar that I have ever owned which might be termed "better" was a Gibson R7, but I have to say, it is a close call.
In VGC, with only a few minor playing marks, it has hardly been played except at home. I have not gigged this guitar, as I am not a huge fan of P90's, even though these are really, really good. I have 2 other Jap Tokai Les Pauls with humbuckers, and so this is at the back of the queue when it comes to gigging and or rehearsing.I am just a humbucker guy! (I also need a decent valve amp, such as a Fender Supersonic 60, or similar, more than this guitar ;-) ) I should also mention that I like the action SO low, if it was any lower it would be under the frets! Therefore, there is a little buzzing on some frets, but by adjusting to your taste, that should be easily remedied.
Tokai fans will know that it is very difficult discerning model numbers, but this is a 2007 model with what I am sure is a 2 piece back, and a 1 piece neck. I reckon that makes it at least a LS905 or better. It is also a Jap import, because by that time, they had changed the headstock shape to include a dimple - as can be seen, this one does not have one!
The Bare Knuckle pick ups are a Blue Note and a Half Note. It has BK caps in there as well, and a push/pull phase switch on the tone control. I have removed the pick guard, and I have changed the covers for black ones, but the originals will be included. It comes with a quality gig bag, but I am hoping to find a case for postage. In any event, it will be very well wrapped, protected, and boxed before posting. (I have a lot of experience doing that).
I am located in the Channel Islands, but cash on collection is possible if you are visiting! More pics, and any questions answered on request.
