For sale I have a Gretsch Made-In-USA floor tom: I am the original owner and bought a whole set of these drums brand new in 1990, so this drum is 26 years old. Jasper maple shells (they don't make those anymore) rosewood lacquer finish. Diameter is 14", and Depth is 11". Heavy, Die cast hoops. Unmolested! Original condition. Everything is original other than the heads. No extra holes, no replacement parts, no repairs have ever been done. The original Gretsch tag is intact and visible inside the drum, with the serial number. Seems like many of the Gretsch drums I see listed here have been Frankensteined in some way, but not this one. No damage has ever occurred other than some scratches. Comes with a "Humes and Berg Enduro" hardshell case.
It's a GREAT sounding drum, surprisingly big sounding. Looks great too. If you look really closely, that's when you can see the little scratches and scuffs and dings from moving them around over the years. But really not bad for a 26 year old drum! It comes with Gretsch's unusually thick and beefy floor tom legs. These have a fair number of scratches on them too, if you look closely. They got a bit scratched when they were in my huge box of drum hardwarePlease ZOOM IN the photos so you can see the various little scratches I mentioned. I want you to be happy with this drum and know what you are getting. It's in great shape but isn't a museum piece. Hate to sell this drum (and the rest of the set) but I haven't been playing them in a few years and I need the money and the space. The drum will be packed in it's own drum case, which will be inside a larger box. I expect I'll mosty likely have to ship the extremely heavy legs in a separate box. Everything will be insured. Shipping's going to cost me a lot on this drum, but shipping is free to you.
