This didgeridoo is made from an unknown hardwood that grew here in South Florida. If you recognize the wood, please message me!! :)Franszwa (Zwa) harvests only downed branches to make his beautiful didgeridoos.This didge is crafted using the split and bore technique (sandwich method).We attached a beautiful solid red cedar mouthpiece! No beeswax ever needed!This wood has a brilliant red heartwood that is showcased on the inside of the bell... just beautiful!!It has two coats of non-toxic epoxy inside and two coats of zero VOC epoxy outside making this didge durable, waterproof, and heat resistant!The outside has been coated with two coats of non-toxic varnish (zero VOC) giving the detail in the wood back it's natural luster and giving this didge a more scratch resistant surface!To top it off, we applied two coats of carnauba paste wax (can be re-applied) for further surface protection and to give the didge a beautiful shine!This is one outstanding hardwood didgeridoo!! Great bass, crisp harmonics, and great backpressure!!Thinner walls give this champion great resonance and bass frequencies!! Plus the weight is ideal!!This is a perfect didge for anyone from beginners up to advanced big collectors!Great for most all playing styles from slow meditative drones and harmonic manipulation, to fast ripping percussive rhythms!All vocals get chopped up very nicely in this long tapering bore! Bring out your vocal arsenal!!An angelic overtone harmonic hum is predominant and rings along right alongside the drone!The trumpet notes are soft and warm, and easy to hit with easy transitions (a few false tones as well)!!Strong backpressure makes for easy circular breathing, and easy intermediate to advanced techniques!!This didge is great for intermediate to advanced players, or maybe it's that unique addition to your collection that you've been waiting for!
This didgeridoo makes for a very attractive functional art piece! Great for home or office aesthetics, then take it out for a jam session! :)
